Don’t allow overwhelm to stop you from reaching your goals!

Something about me you may not have known…

I’ve owned and operated my business for almost 21 years, hosted my own radio show – Let’s Talk Strategies with Danette Moss for 4 years where I interviewed millionaires and highly successful #entrepreneurs, authored 2 books (working on my 3rd book- #TheSpouseFactor), created my 1st planner this past January (can be purchased on my website or from link in my IG bio – @TheStrategyLady) all of this while being a #motherof5, #grandmotherof4, a #wifepreneur, and a #daughterpreneur who spent days and sometimes weeks in nursing home(s) with my late dad.  I also became a #caregiver to a mother who has #dementia and #alzheimer’s disease. But God…

I refuse to allow the trails and problems I had to distract me from reaching the goals, dreams and vision that God gave me. So I started looking for something to do to take some of the strain off.
Scripture teaches us to look away from everything that will distract us and to focus on Jesus who is the Author and the Finisher of our faith. (See Hebrews 12:2 for proper perspective and insight)

The solution was hard, but simple for me. I decided almost 3 years ago to go back to corporate (work for someone) to take care of the crisis demands.  Then I took a really important step and decided to use the #GraceOverGrind business model.  Following God’s guidance to see my goals, dreams and vision come to completion has been rewarding.

After organize my business by putting systems in place (#GetYourSASSOn) I’m happy to report I’m finally working on my #exitstrategy to becoming a full-time #entrepreneur/#businessowner again.

I’m a firm believer that when you cast your cares on Him who is the author and finisher of our faith… you can do anything!

This article was inspired by one of my recent post where I shared the word Perspective from one of @JoyceMeyer #WakeUpToTheWord devotion.  This caused me to reflect back over the challenges that I’ve overcome as a #businessowner.

I encourage you to not allow the circumstances in your life to derail you or prevent you from reaching your goals.
